About The Author, Andrew Wood

Born in Oxford, England, Andrew Wood spent his formative years in the picturesque Shropshire countryside. At 18, he ventured across the Atlantic, driven by a dream to conquer the PGA Tour. Though his golfing ambitions fell short, fate had a different path in store. A chance opportunity led him to Southern California, where he unexpectedly found himself running a small karate school. Struggling as a young entrepreneur, he quickly realized that his true talent lay not in the dojo but in the art of marketing.
With relentless focus and determination, Wood transformed his initial interest in marketing into a lifelong passion. Within seven years, he expanded a single karate school into a national franchise with over 400 locations. After a successful exit from the martial arts industry in the late ’90s, Wood relocated to Florida and founded Legendary Marketing, a company that perfectly fused his love for golf and travel with his marketing acumen.
